Subject-Verb Agreement หมายถึง
การใช้คำกริยาให้สอดคล้องกับประธาน
ผู้เรียนต้องจดจำว่าประธานลักษณะใดต้องใช้กริยาที่ตามมาในรูปเอกพจน์หรือพหุพจน์
ถ้าประธานเป็นรูปเอกพจน์ กริยาจะต้องเป็นเอกพจน์ หรือถ้าประธานเป็นรูปพหุพจน์กริยาก็จะต้องเป็นรูปพหุพจน์เช่นเดียวกัน
